Puella Magi Madoka☆Magica: Magia Exedra (魔法少女まどか☆マギカ マギアエクセド Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magika - Magia Exedra) or Magia Exedra is a mobile game by Puella Magi Madoka Magica. It was first announced on April 21, 2024 by the game's official Twitter account. It will be released in 2024, being available on the Google Play and Steam platforms.
On May 31, 2024, the closure of the Puella Magi Madoka☆Magica Side Story: Magia Record server was announced for July 31 of the same year, with Magia Exedra being a successor to it.

Before game release[]
- April 21, 2024: The game is first announced in a Tweet from the new account @madoka_exedra, which was also retweeted on the main Madoka Magica account, @madoka_magica. The tweet contained a link to a countdown page, with more information about the game launching on April 22, 2024 at 10:00 AM. m. JST.
- A promotional image is published, which states the following:
- The game will be released in 2024.
- More information would be published in the Yomiuri Shimbun (読売新聞), a Japanese newspaper, on April 22, 2024.
- Planning and distribution (企画・配信) was done by Aniplex, development (開発) by Pokelabo (ポケラボ) and f4samurai, while administration (運営) was handled by Pokelabo.
- The full title is "Puella Magi Madoka Magica - Magia Exedra".
- As the countdown ended, the full website was opened, revealing a key image featuring the Holy Quintet battling Walpurgisnacht, along with a 3D animation featuring a mysterious green Kyubey, which does not have its trademark rings on its ears.
- Pokelabo later posted on his blog mentioning that the game will feature 3D graphics.
- A promotional image is published, which states the following:
- May 31, 2024: The closure of the Magia Record server was announced, which will officially take place on July 31, 2024. With this, it was announced that after the closure of the game, game players will be able to receive a code to transfer data to Magia Exedra. At the moment it is unknown what types of data will be transferable from one game to the other and what benefits will come with it.
- June 17, 2024: A teaser for the game was released in both English and Japanese, and an official English Twitter account was opened to the public. Additionally, a live stream on Twitter was announced on YouTube, which will be broadcast on July 2, 2024 at 20:00 JST. The live will feature Momo Asakura, seiyuu of Iroha Tamaki and Emiri Katō, seiyuu of Kyubey.
- July 2, 2024: During the live broadcast of Magia Exedra Correspondence #1, a promotional video was released along with the character trailer for Madoka and Iroha. Pre-registration has also started on Google Play and Steam (Japan only). It has also been revealed that the game will feature a new character named "Namae" (voiced by Akari Komiyama), who has no memories.
- The player will collect the Light of Memory (記憶の光 Kioku no Hikari) from magical girls through a Window of Memory (記憶の窓 Kioku no Mado) in the Lighthouse Theater (灯台劇場 Todai Gekijo) by playing through the events in the memory of those magical girls.
- The game will feature a green Kyubey named "A-Q", whom Namae met at the Lighthouse Theatre.
- As the scenario progresses, the player will receive a Portrait, an illustration card similar to Magic Record Memory cards, related to the scenario that can be equipped.
- The English pre-registration page also revealed that the game is based on original ideas by Gekidan Inu Curry (Doroinu).
- The official promotional video for the game has also been uploaded, featuring Oriko Mikuni, Jeanne D'Arc, Kazumi, and Suzune Amano.
