Labyrinths (結界 lit. Barrier?) are the otherworlds that Witches and their Familiars hide themselves in the Puella Magi series.

- Certain Witches like Kriemhild Gretchen or Walpurgisnacht are so strong that they don't need to hide themselves into Labyrinths.
- As explained in Dengeki PlayStation January 2012 issue, a Labyrinth is a space resembling the Magical Girl's mental landscape before they became a Witch. Not only that but a Labyrinth can be based of various things. Such instances include the real-world place a Magical Girl became a Witch, their motif as a Magical Girl or their wish.
- Traditionally, a Witch's Kiss will appear in her Labyrinth's entrance.
