Felicia Mitsuki (深月フェリシア, Felicia Mitsuki^?) is one of the five main Magical Girls in Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka☆Magica Side Story.

Bio

Appearance

Felicia Mitsuki is a girl with long blonde hair tied into two long pigtails with scrunchies made of small blue pearls and lavender eyes. She's mostly seen in her school uniform.

As a Magical Girl, she wears an outfit carrying a light lavender color scheme. She wears a lavender hood with two golden horns on each side, with round steampunk-like goggles strapped over it, a dark crop top with the breast area being a lavender color with baggy, detached sleeves in a pale, darker brown color. Under these sleeves, she wears dark brown, fingerless gloves. She also wears a two-layered skirt, the top layer being lavender while the bottom layer is a dark brown, and baggy, pale brown socks paired with thick, brown boots. She also wears light brown buckled belts just below her breasts and around her waist, which are connected to each other by a single chain which contains her Soul Gem. Around her neck, she sports an enormous lavender scarf with its two ends hanging around her back and tied with black ribbons. She also wields an enormous mallet adorned with purple stones.

Personality

Felicia is a rough, mischievous, and hard-headed tomboy. She holds an extreme hatred for witches, because of the effect of her wish which caused her to believe that her parents were killed by witches. An energetic, unyielding, and unfettered magical girl, she lives as a "mercenary" waging war against witches all over Kamihama. Her wild expressions during battle are influenced by shounen manga. However, she is gentle at heart and loves animals, particularly cows as she thinks cows bring families together and gives good food and milk.

Etymology

Felicia (フェリシア, Felicia^?): A female given name from the Latin word fēlīx that means "happy".

Mitsuki (深月, Mitsuki^?): Mi (深, Mi^?) means "deep" and tsuki (月, tsuki^?) means "moon" or "month".

Family

Parents
Felicia used to live happily with her parents in an apartment of Chuo Ward. One day, she pulled a prank to her mother while she was cooking and the entire apartment was caught in fire. Felicia survived but her parents didn't. She wished for this incident to have never happened and her parents to return. After her wish, this memory is replaced by another one where her parents were killed by a Witch. She misses her parents.

• Her main ability is that she can eliminate or alter memories of others.

Attacks

• Connect (コネクト, Connect^?): A technique used by Magical Girls in Magia Record. By joining hands, the two Magical Girls can fuse their weaposn to create a stronger variant of it.

Trivia

• According to chapter 4 of the game's Main Story:
  • She reads a lot of Shounen manga.
  • Her favourite item is a cow plushie she received from a farm she visited with her parents prior to their death.
• The nature of her wish is confusing. She wished for what happened, to have never happened. The truth is that her parents weren't killed by a Witch, but by a prank she pulled up. She poorly worded her speech, and what was simply removed was the cause of the accident. As thus a fake memory was generated to replace "how her parents died" by a Witch.
  • Only Kyubey and Kako Natsume know about this.
  • The Witch she has in her memories is actually her own Witch form, Beatrice. Since she can't summon her Witch by will and as long as she exists within the Automatic Purification System, she will live in an endless revenge for Witches, thinking that one of them could be the one that killed her parents.
  • The wish in her fake memory also changed, she wished "I... want to kill Witches!"
• Felicia is the only Magical Girl in the Magia Record anime to have her Doppel named.^{Episode 07}
• One of Felicia's Halloween costumes homescreen quotes indicates that her father is from an English-speaking country "My dad, he's from Britain or some English speakin' country."
