This Isn't the Past is the fourth episode of the Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story anime.
Summary[]
Iroha Tamaki meets Tsuruno Yui who owns the Banbanzai Restaurant to help Iroha find her missing sister Ui Tamaki. Sadly, Tsuruno doesn't know who Ui Tamaki is, but decides to help Iroha on learning about the rumors.
Tsuruno calls her friend to meet up in the Mizuna Shrine, and she accepts, surprisingly, Tsuruno's friend is Yachiyo Nanami.
After meeting up, Yachiyo tells Iroha and Tsuruno about a new rumor that is located in the Seance Shrine. As Yachiyo explains to Iroha and Tsuruno, Yachiyo says that the new rumor will allow you to see any person you would like to see. Iroha and the others go to explore the shrines in order to find the Seance Shrine. The last shrine they arrive at is the Mizuna shrine, but the shrine has already closed for the day. Yachiyo believes that Mizuna Shrine isn't Seance Shrine and there might be some clue to get in the Seance Shrine.
Iroha and the others decided to leave since the shrine already closed for the day, while they were leaving, Yachiyo needed help to get groceries, so she asks Iroha and Tsuruno for help, but later on, Yachiyo sensed a Witch's Labyrinth.
Iroha and Yachiyo enter the Witch's Labyrinth; while fighting the Witch, Candy, Tsuruno appears and defeats the Witch.
After defeating the witch, Yachiyo soon realizes that she was wrong, and that Mizuna Shrine was Seance Shrine after all. Iroha and the others went in the Shrine at night and wrote the names of the person they wanted to see, Yachiyo writing Mifuyu, and Iroha writing Ui.
