With Puella Magi Madoka Magica being rebroadcast on terrestrial television, the anime staff decided to commission new end cards, and apparently they asked voice actresses (Aoi YŪKI, Madoka's VA, and Emiri KATOU, Kyubey's VA) who are good at illustrations to create two of the 12 episodes.

Aoi YUUKI is a voice actress who plays Madoka, but she is also famous in Japan for her drawing skills.
She is modest and says she is not as good as a professional illustrator, but she draw if Puella Magi official had requested.
